  • Cal Lutheran has long implemented energy saving approaches such as solar tubes for lighting, solar panels for dormitory water heating, and retrofitting windows and light fixtures for optimum efficiency.
  • Cal Lutheran has several LEED Certified Buildings, including the Swenson Center and Ullman Commons which particularly focus on achieving maximum points for energy efficiency through efficient heating and cooling design and daylighting.
  • Cal Lutheran has installed low-flow toilets, faucets and waterless urinals in order to reduce campus water consumption.
