About

Jeffrey Detweiler, M.S. is a Visiting Professor in the School of Management at California Lutheran University, teaching courses in cybersecurity, data science, and information technology. With more than two decades of experience in high-performance computing, data architecture, and secure systems design, Detweiler brings extensive industry expertise to teaching and program development. Detweiler has played a key role in advancing Cal Lutheran’s cybersecurity curriculum, helping students prepare for the evolving challenges of today’s digital landscape.


In addition to academic work, Detweiler serves as a Data Integration Specialist at GibbsCAM, focusing on the design and deployment of secure, high-performance data processing systems. Previous experience includes system architecture and cybersecurity leadership positions with EIRTH Systems, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, and Boeing. Detweiler holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California Lutheran University and maintains certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
