About
Jeff Bajah is a dedicated educator with over 10 years of experience in higher education, business analytics, curriculum development, and retail operations management. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor at California Lutheran University, where he teaches in the School of Management.
Before transitioning to academia full-time, Jeff built a successful career in retail operations at Walgreens, where he rose to become a store manager.
Jeff is an educator at multiple institutions, having taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, and Data Analytics. At California Lutheran University, he teaches Economics courses and has developed curriculum across several colleges in Business Data Analytics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Supply Chain Management.
In academic service, Jeff has served as an application reviewer for the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program, the Mandela Washington Fellowship through the U.S. State Department, and the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program. He has been involved in creating new courses and certificates including Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Supply Chain, Business Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Statistics at several colleges.
Jeff holds dual doctorates: an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from California Lutheran University and a DBA in Supply Chain Management from Capitol Technology University. He is currently completing a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Global Business Management at North Central University. He also holds five master's degrees in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity.
His current research examines Foreign Direct Investment, Fiscal policy coordination, and supply chain performance in ECOWAS, with a focus on how political instability affects multinational corporation strategy. Using panel data econometrics, difference-in-differences, and staggered treatment methods, his work fills critical literature gaps where only qualitative case studies previously existed.

Jeff Bajah is an expert in business analytics and data science, with a focus on equipping students with the technical skills to make data-driven decisions. He developed and launched the Business Data Analytics Certificate Program at Pasadena City College, helping students build competencies in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence that are essential for today's data-driven marketplace.
Supply Chain Management
With a DBA in Supply Chain Management, Jeff brings both academic rigor and practical insight to logistics, operations, and reverse supply chain processes. His doctoral research examined how reverse supply chain practices affect customer satisfaction, contributing original quantitative findings to a field often dominated by qualitative case studies. He has developed supply chain curriculum at multiple institutions and applies his retail operations experience to help students understand end-to-end supply chain dynamics.
Economics & Fiscal Policy
Jeff has extensive expertise in both microeconomics and macroeconomics, with a research focus on fiscal policy coordination in developing economies. His current PhD research examines how fiscal policy alignment within ECOWAS affects macroeconomic convergence and foreign direct investment. He brings this expertise into the classroom, helping students understand how policy decisions shape economic outcomes at regional and global levels.

Jeff is highly skilled in quantitative research methodologies, including panel data econometrics, difference-in-differences, causal inference, and staggered treatment designs. His research fills critical gaps in the literature on political instability and investment climate in West Africa, applying rigorous methods where only qualitative studies previously existed. He mentors students and colleagues in statistical analysis and research design.
