Fireside Chat with Chris Lytton of the Legendary Jim Henson Company

On November 5 (yes, election night...!), we hosted our Fall Semester Fireside Chat, our invitation-only event series for student members for School of Management Clubs and Organizations. Our industry guest this time was Chris Lytton, President and COO of the Jim Henson Co. The Jim Henson Co. was originally founded by the legendary Jim Henson who brought many of us childhood entertainment from the iconic Muppets to the Fraggles. Most recently, the company created television shows such as Duff’s Happy Fun Bake Time for discovery+, Earth to Ned for Disney+, Fraggle Rock: Rock On! for Apple TV+, and the Emmy Award-winning Netflix Original series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance as well as Guillermo Del Toro’s Oscar-winning movie Pinocchio. Chris highlighted stages of his own career, spoke about today's career opportunities in entertainment, and he readily answered our students' questions.
