How to Apply

For Transfer Students

 

  1. Create an Account and Start Your Free Application
    Begin by creating an account or login and complete your application. No application fee required!

  2. Submit Your Application & Personal Essay
    Choose which semester you are applying for and complete the questions on the application by the appropriate deadline. The application includes a personal essay section. Please keep in mind that all application documents must be submitted by the application deadline (including Official Transcripts from ALL colleges attended, a Letter of Recommendation, and the Personal Essay).

    High school transcripts are also required if you have less than 30 transferable units at the time of application.
  3. Letter of Recommendation
    Request a Letter of Recommendation from one your professors on your application for admission. You will need your recommender's email address for this section. After you submit your application, your recommender will receive an email with instructions on how to send us the letter. We suggest that you begin the process early to give them plenty of time to respond before the deadline.
  4. Official Transcripts
    Official transcripts from all colleges attended must be sent to us directly from schools you have attended.

Students Seeking Re-Admission

If you are returning to Cal Lutheran after an absence of two or more consecutive semesters, you will need to contact the Academic Services team about re-enrollment.  

International Transfer Students
