International Day of Peace
“Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day”
The Center for Global Engagement, in collaboration with Campus Ministry, is organizing a celebration for the International Day of Peace. This year’s theme is “Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.”
The flag procession will begin at 11 a.m. at the Student Union lower-level patio and will proceed to Samuelson Chapel for a reflection by the Rev. Eric C. Shafer and the rededication of the Peace Pole, followed by light refreshments.
By being part of this procession, you are standing in solidarity with people around the world who believe in peace, unity and understanding. Come walk with us, celebrate peace and stand together for a better world!
