Pre-SCIAC Era Nomination Form: 1962-1991
Thank you for your interest in nominating a Cal Lutheran athlete or team from our “Pre-SCIAC Era” of athletic competition (1961-1991). Please fill out the form below as completely as possible, keeping in mind that the Veterans Committee aims to take a holistic approach to evaluating these nominees in an effort to overcome the lack of quality statistical records and more uniform honors and distinctions that came into being with Cal Lutheran's 1992 entrance into the SCIAC in all sports.
To help you better understand what our current pool of nominees pool looks like, we currently have more than fifty nominees who have two or more the following credentials:
- Recognition as an All American or All West Region
- Multiple years of All Conference or All District recognition
- A place on one or more CLU Career or Season Top Ten statistical lists for their sport
- Membership on multiple conference/regional championship teams
Finally, please understand that the only teams currently in the hall won a national championship, and we have two recent national champions who will be eligible for induction into the Hall in the next four years. Consideration will be given to teams that had an extraordinary run of conference/district success, but a compelling argument will need to be made regarding what sets them apart as Hall of Fame caliber.
