Lunar New Year Celebration
The Center for Global Engagement will celebrate Lunar New Year 2025, the Year of the Snake, with cultural performances, festive food and a joyful atmosphere.
The Lunar New Year, observed widely across East and Southeast Asia and in communities around the world (from Jan. 29 through Feb. 16 in 2025), is a time to gather, reflect and embrace new beginnings. In the Chinese zodiac, the snake represents wisdom, elegance and intuition, symbolizing a year that promises insight, transformation and thoughtful decision making.
The event is free. For more information, visit CalLutheran.edu/global-engagement/events or email global@CalLutheran.edu.
