Semester Programs

Students pay fees directly to California Lutheran University and therefore retain their full financial aid package, including state and federal aid, grants, loans, and Cal Lutheran-specific scholarships, with the sole exception of work-study. Cal Lutheran will pay standard invoices for mandatory program elements to third-party institutions, including all application fees and non-refundable deposits.

If a student selects any options program elements--such as housing beyond standard accommodations, voluntary excursions, or elective meal plans--the third-party institution will invoice that student directly for those expenses.

Please note that commuter students who otherwise do not typically pay housing fees while on the Thousand Oaks campus must pay housing fees when participating in a program off-campus.
