2025
2025's issue, "Life," received the rank of Excellent from the NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. Magazines were scored by national judges. Morning Glory was selected from over 400 entries. This issue's Faculty Advisor was Dr. Robert Mendoza, and its Student Editors were JJ Cambaliza, Lucie Wagner, Michael Festekjian.

2024
2024's issue, "Nostalgia," received the rank of First Class from the NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. Magazines were scored by national judges. Morning Glory was selected from over 400 entries. This issue's Faculty Advisor was Dr. Jacqueline Lyons, and its Student Editors were Amelia Tracey, Aubrey Zambrano, and Michael Festekjian.

2023
2023's issue received the rank of Superior in the 2023 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. The REALM program is designed to encourage all schools to develop literary magazines that celebrate the art and craft of writing.
The NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) works with students and teachers to offer journals, publications, and resources; to further the voice and expertise of educators as advocates for their students at the local and federal levels; and to share lesson ideas, research, and teaching strategies through its Annual Convention and other professional learning events.

2010
Morning Glory, CLU's literary magazine, was again named a finalist in the competition for the prestigious ACP National Pacemaker award! This is the second consecutive year Morning Glory has achieved the honor, setting an unprecedented record for the magazine, which previously won a Pacemaker Award in 1982. The Pacemaker Winner Awards and Finalist Awards are awarded in a nationwide competition that recognizes higher education's outstanding journalism and literary accomplishments. These coveted and prestigious honors have been compared to the Pulitzer Prizes in the professional writing world.
Morning Glory, CLU's literary magazine, has been a consistent recipient of the Associated Collegiate Press's (ACP's) ALL AMERICAN AWARD for over 40 years.
