Ritch K. Eich, Ph.D., began his service as CLU's Vice President for Marketing and Communications on July 21. In his new role, Eich will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communications and marketing program designed to enhance the University's image regionally and nationally. More than 60 local science teachers are going beyond the world of Bunsen burners and test tubes this month as they participate in the Amgen Summer Science Institute at CLU. The program, which includes generous stipends, is geared to middle and high school science teachers to improve science education in their classrooms.
