CLUFest 2017: Forward, A Walk through the Creative Mind
CLUFest 2017: Forward explores the growth of cutting edge technology through unique and unconventional uses of design and storytelling. Planned and curated by the graduating seniors of Multimedia Department, this exhibition showcases the emerging innovators in design, gaming, cinema, visual effects and interactive media in the program at all class levels. In the theme of Forward, each senior enrolled in the Capstone class has reflected on their work, time, and growth as Multimedia student at Cal Lutheran as featured in a series entitled Rewind. In this series, students recreated an earlier work of theirs with the skills, talent, and passion they have cultivated during their time here. With such growth and change, these graduating seniors will move forward in the creative industry with the tools and lessons they have learned. Take a walk through the mind of upcoming creative professionals exhibiting their work, their mastery and dedication to the craft. This student showcase is made possible through the California Lutheran University Multimedia Department and the Kwan Fong Gallery.

Humans of Cal Lutheran: The Who, What, and Why of the Campus Community
Open-ended questions offer insight into the many lives, experiences, and stories that inhabit Cal Lutheran. The student conceived, lead, and run project explores the intricacies behind Humans of Cal Lutheran and the commonalities of the unique stories shared from these open-ended questions. Humans of Cal Lutheran is an effort to create a new form of connection on campus through its student teams and stories they help share. Through the project, diverse individuals from different walks of lives come together and express the values, fears and hopes many of us share. Much of this project focuses on the gathering interviews and pictures via recording and camera. In an assembly line-like manner, the Humans of Cal Lutheran staff works as teams in the realms of Interviews and Marketing, to Post-Processing in Audio and Visual, then moves to Social Media for archiving and publishing.
