Sexual Misconduct and Title IX: Effective Regulations for Equal Education
Over the last 50 years, Title IX has increasingly gained notoriety for its application to cases of sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct “is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX” which is prevalent particularly in the university setting where women, first-year students, and those that identify as LGBTQI+ are disproportionately affected. Title IX has seen changing regulations from the Obama, Trump, and now Biden administrations. This, coupled with increasing awareness of sexual misconduct brought on by the #MeToo movement, has made its importance obvious.
Universities have largely failed to effectively apply Title IX regulations to create safer campuses for students. This policy analysis of current Title IX regulations will offer recommendations on how to best support students.
The implementation recommendations will focus on:
Creating clear expectations for implementation of regulations at institutions of higher education.
Strengthening the external investigator and adjudicator models that do exist, and adding them to institutions that lack them, as to avoid recurrent bias and conflict of interest within investigations.
Cultivating campus climates that prevent sexual misconduct from occurring, rather than simply attempting to punish it when it does.

The Military Industrial Complex and NATO Expansion
The purpose of this study is to examine what impact the military industrial complex had on influencing the U.S. government to be in favor of expanding NATO. To assess this relationship, this study will seek to answer the following:
RQ1: What is the military industrial complex?
RQ2: What are the pros and cons, both foreign and domestic, of NATO expansion?
RQ3: Does an expanded NATO perpetuate the military industrial complex and its profits?
To address this study’s research questions, both qualitative and quantitative data was analyzed.

The Socioeconomic and Political Factors of English Football
It is not often recognized how large of an impact the area the club resides in has on the club itself. The histories of the oldest and newest clubs in England share a loose, but common theme: created by a union for the people. The purpose of this study is to examine socioeconomic factors in the surrounding areas of a few different clubs and the impact the club itself, as well as the club’s choices, have on the community. To assess this relationship, the following questions must be answered:
How do football clubs get founded and recognized by the English FA?
What role do financing and politics play into the operations of the club?
How have the changing dynamics led to the transformation of clubs under new ownership?
The financial takeover of certain clubs in England, with Manchester City and Newcastle United, has shifted the scales of the monetary standing of other clubs in the English Premiership. The political standing of Newcastle upon Tyne as a more conservative population with a roughly 58% vote to leave the EU, there is irony in the positive reaction of the Newcastle faithful that a foreign body purchased their club and began to infuse it with cash from outside of the UK.

Female Labor Force Participation in Turkey
We need to work on/improve gender equality, in labor markets not only because this is fair or right thing to do, but also because a more gender equal workplace brings about a healthier work environment for all and hence increased productivity. In order to achieve a more gender equal labor market, it is very important to carry out research on the drivers of and stumbling blocks to female labor force participation. This study will examine the relationship between political participation and labor force participation.
I will examine the factors that affect female labor force participation in Turkey. What are the current conditions of female labor force participation for Turkey? What are the current trends and critical/ turning points in female labor force participation in Turkey? In recent two decades what kinds of policies and economic transformations are significant regarding female labor force participation rate? In what context and to what extent 1. cultural/religious, 2. educational/training and 3. socio-economic and legal political factors affect female labor force participation in this country?
