Walnut Dye Workshop
Join us in the CLU SEEd Garden to learn from ethnobotanist Julia Samaniego, Tataviam, Chumash, active member of the Fernadeno Tattaviam Band of Mission Indians, of the native practice of deriving dye from native walnuts.
The SEEd Project Garden provides opportunities for students to directly engage in Cal Lutheran's sustainability efforts and supports the nation-wide movement that encourages people to purchase local produce. The garden also contains the Fry Family Outdoor Classroom.
Registration requested.
