CERF 2023 Latino GDP Report Released

On September 13, our Center for Economic Research and Forecasting held a launch event for the 2023 Latino GDP Report together with our partners at UCLA at the UCLA Faculty Club. Executive Director Matthew Fienup (followed by Prof. Hayes-Bautista of UCLA) presented the impressive key results of this year's report, which confirmed that the Latino cohort of the U.S. GDP has broken the $3 trillion threshold, and now represents the 5th largest economy in the world with GDP growth that is only surpassed by China and India. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion that included among others, former Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and San Francisco Federal Reserve representative Elizabeth Parrot, moderated by TV host Gabriella Teissier. Special thanks also to Dan Hamilton for all his work on the report behind the scenes! The full report is available from the U.S. Latino GDP website.
