Cal Lutheran School of Management Holds Future Business Leaders of America Event
On February 24, we held a recruiting event for high school students from Thousand Oaks High School, Westlake High School, Newbury Park High School, and Oak Park High School. Around 50 high school students joined us for a panel discussion with our own Kyle McIntosh, alumna Anastasia Martinez, and Business Administration student Nicolas Calderone, moderated by Thousand Oaks' High School's Ashley Cooper. During panel discussions, high school students engaged in table discussions with SOM Advisory Council members Andrea Brimmer, Bill Burkley, Primo Custodio, and Nick Sondgeroth as well as faculty colleagues Ali Akbari, Kirk Lesh, and Mark Orlando as well as our panelists. A big thanks goes to Rosie Baker for her organization as well as staff member Hana Petr and student Taylor Evans for their support during the event.
